Neymar's Hungry Hat-trick
Neymar tucking in a goal for Barca |
Messi and Neymar led Barca into a fluent game against a very poor, vulnerable and helpless Granada. The first goal was mainly due to Granada's poor defence; Neymar was fed the ball at his feet and with the aid of a deflection, he managed to score an inevitable goal. Following this, came an extraordinarily excellent header from Rakitic from a close range into the bottom left corner; assisted beautifully by the magical Messi. Neymar couldn't stop shining bright like a diamond so he took a right footed shot from the centre of the box to the top right corner. Of course, how could there be a Barcelona match with no goals from Messi? The luxurious Messi headed in a goal from Dani Alves' cross. Followed by Neymar's third to grasp his match ball and then Messi's second because having just one goal is never enough for him.
Barca displayed very little empathy for the broken Granada side and took full advantage of their powerless demeanor. Luis Suarez, who is yet awaiting his turn on the famous Nou Camp, was watching on from the stands and thoroughly enjoying himself. Suarez was surely the missing piece of the puzzle, yet somehow the picture on the puzzle was already, very clear indeed! Messi earned his 400th goal in a Barcelona match and just to humiliate Granada further, he also got his 401st goal for Barcelona. Throughout the game, Barcelona's play was to be reserved as just offensive. Granada's chances were scarce and had very little offensive and defensive qualities within their performance.
An exceedingly entertaining match for all Barca and other fans (with the exception of Real Madrid and Granada fans) which helped to bring Barcelona up to first place in the La Liga.
