Last time we chatted, I had a list of things I wanted to complete this year. Let us have a peek and see what I have managed to do thus far.

 - learn how to drive - well, with this, my instructor was absolutely terrible so I had to switch it up and choose a new one. I had my first lesson with him today and he informs me that the way I drive seems as though I have only had 2-3 lessons, which is an insult but at the same time, is cruelly true. I was happier with my drive today but probably because he was taking control of most of the ride. But perhaps I will learn better this way. Booking a test is impossible. I have tried. 

learn a new language - this may be a course I take up after I finished my creative writing course (and possible after I finish my PGCE, and yes, I'm going to go again in terms of teaching). So, this does not have to be a thing I complete in this current year. I plan to be a cover teacher so that I have the freedom to do what I want. 

learn to cook - I have managed to cook 3 things so far this year, all at beginners stage, that is chicken and lamb curry as well as a cheeky lasagne, I do also want to get into baking too. 

begin to think of marriage - I have thought about it, and maybe after I finish my teaching course. 

find a high paying job - that's what the PGCE is for.
